It's the Zebra ZSB Label Printer! Doesn't that have such a nice ring to it!! Say it with me... Zebra ZSB Label Printer... It even sounds fancy! It has the capability to print everything from 2-4 inches from household labels to shipping labels. It's AWESOME!!
Why this is so amazing is because it's compatible with all major shipping carriers, shipping services, and key e-commerce platforms like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Shopify, Zebra’s ZSB Series printer makes it easy to print shipping labels, address labels, product pricing labels and much more. How nice is that?! Small home businesses like nice as well as savvy home offices (also like mine) can use this printer and not have to worry about the extra hassle.
I'm just here to say, even with personal life being so digital, this works great for all of the shipping needs I have, all the way around! We have a brand new grandson, I don't even know how many trips to the post office we have made over the past 5 months. This printer is ideal for package barcodes for holiday gifts and readying name tags for your office party.
I don't know about you but it's nice being able to handle all of my postage right here at home. The wide range of capability with this printer is absolutely amazing. I can send out all of my personal mail, holiday mail, and all of my business mail from the comfort of my own home. No more waiting in line at the post office or the shipping store! I can print it up and arrange a pick up right from my house! Ok, enough about the exciting perks, I have to tell you all about the Zebra Label Printer.
Opening my box
I felt like a little kid on Christmas opening up all of the goodies that Zebra sent along. I got the Zebra ZSB Label Printer and 6 packs of labels.
Sizes include:
- Jewelry Label- O.5" x 2.25"
- Return Label- 0.75" x 2.25"
- Barcode Label- 1.25" x 1"
- Address Label- 1.25" x 3.5"
- Multi Purpose Label- 1.25" x 1.25"
- Shipping Label- 2.25" x 4"
Using the App is so easy!
I downloaded the ZSB Series App on my iPhone. It's also available for Android but I work from my iPhone more.
I followed the prompts and the Zebra connection was flawless!
In the app:
Customization is key! You can be as creative as you want to be with Zebra!! At the very top, you can set your account information, name, avatar (upload a photo), and even set your size from millimeters, centimeters, or inches.
Edit your workspace by adding an icon, naming your space, and even setting your theme.
The information tab (3 lines on the top left) holds the tabs for Home, Common Designs, My Designs, My Data, Add a Printer, Notifications, and Printer Settings.
Home
The home tab shows your printer model, the size of the label in the printer, the number of labels you have remaining, and the recent labels you have used.
As a convenient option, there is a "buy labels" button right on the home screen so you can keep up with all of the labels you need for your office.
Common Designs
The Common Designs section has all of the most common labels you may need. It has options for everything you can think of!
Address- for use on envelopes and packages.
Barcodes- Designs for UPC, EAN, Code 39, QR Code barcodes, box marking
Jewelry- For labeling and pricing small items
Multipurpose/Name Tag- Visitor and name badges, with or without photos
Postage/Shipping- Mailing, box marking, safety notices
Return Address/File Folder- File folder identification in multiple formats
Shipping- Mailing and Packages, large name badges, part making
Small Multipurpose- Barcodes and asset marking.
For each of those labels, all you have to do is click it to see the different options available. It has filter options to choose between label sizes which allows you to pick which way you want the label to print and sort alphabetically from A-Z or Z-A.
I am going to walk through the process of creating an Address Label throughout this post. I love the options that are available for the labels. There are presets package labels as well as generic 3 and 4 line labels. I am telling you now, this is the organizational tool everyone needs in their life.
Selecting the size of the Address Label allows you to easily choose from a 2.25" x 3.5" or 3.5" x 2.25". That means you get to choose the best label, no matter what. I love that option!
Click the label design you want and it will pop up to see it. Choose from "print" and "copy to my designs".
Print- brings up the label and allows you to fill in your personal items in the space.
Copy to my designs- will save it to the "My Designs" tab to access it even faster for next time.
Print editing options
Something I love about the ease of use is you will know right away if the label in the printer matches the label you are preparing to print.
- Click the address in the box (preassigned address is the Zebra Technologies address). Edit the address you want to be on the label.
- Select the printer you want to use, it also shows how many labels you have left.
- Select the number of copies you want to print.
- Check over the information selected and click "Print".
My Designs
My Designs- is super easy to navigate. This is the list of all of the labels you have saved from the labels section. You can go through and rename them so you know by a glance which label you want to print again.
My Data
The My Data section is a great place to store your personal files like logos and other pictures and icons.
Notifications
The notification section will display any messages from your Zebra. You can choose to have notifications for when your documents are printed and the printer is low and empty. You can also keep track of the previous notifications you have received in the past.
Printer Settings
The printer settings include Common, Zebra, General, and Wifi.
Changing your printer settings is as simple as sliding the level line and seeing how bold or dark you want the print to be. You can also check your wifi connection to make sure you are all ready to go.
So... Let's print something!!
I have to say it one more time, the Zebra ZSB Label Printer is awesome for a home office whether it's a business office, home workspace office, or both!
Their motto that's printed right on the packaging says it all, without fabrication- "End the Plug and Pray" That's exactly what this does! It works when it's supposed to work and it doesn't get jammed.
Changing cartridges
So, a few of the big questions I had were: What if I want to print different-sized labels? Do I have to wait until the labels are all used up? Will I have to waste a bunch of labels to be able to switch them out? The super-simple answer is No, don't wait! Push on the top of the printer, open the top, remove the cartridge and replace it with another size cartridge. It's that simple!
Take a look at the pictures above. You will see how the Zebra recognizes the cartridge when the machine is open, and what it is replaced with, instantly. I am so impressed with this machine, I am going to have to do a video to show how easy it is to operate. There's no way around it. It's way too impressive to try to capture it all in pictures.
