The internet is a fantastic source for this type of information in this Age of Learning we’re living in, and it's essential not only to read more about career success but also to ask people who have been successful in the same field as you how they did it and what mistakes they made along the way, etc.
By opening yourself up to these opportunities, others can share their experiences with you, which will help you get ahead faster than if you were trying to learn from scratch on your own. When receiving advice from someone else - make sure that advice fits into your plan! If it doesn't, don't follow through no matter how good or bad anyone tells you something is because ultimately, at the end of the day, you have to live with the consequences.
