Waterproof Travel Speaker From Olaolo Makes A Great Impression

This year I want to share more with all of you about me and my family. So much has changed over the past five years since I started Amy & Aron's Real Life Reviews. I have changed so much since starting Amy & Aron's Real Life Reviews, I feel like it wouldn't be fair if I didn't get reacquainted with all of you.

When I first started the blog I was a full-time stay at home mom for my daughters Abby and Cassie and a full-time caregiver to my husband, Aron. I did that for a long time. This past summer I went back to work as a waitress at Huddle House. It has been exciting and fun being out in the workforce!

For those of you that don't know what Huddle House is, it's a diner-style restaurant with a long bar with 6 or 7 chairs ( I'll count them tomorrow) and 13 tables. We serve an open menu all day and to be honest, it's a really fun place to work. Waitressing has always been my favorite, non-digital job. I told Aron when he was well enough and the kids were big enough, I am going back to work. I'm still in shock that I actually did it.

One cool thing about my job is we get to listen to music while we work. Nothing offensive of course. We want our customers to come back. In the mornings we usually listen to classic rock or newish country, it really fits the feel of the restaurant and the local vibe. We are nested in a small town in the western North Carolina mountains, Hayesville. If you ever feel like stopping by, make sure you tell me if you read this. I would love to know if you are a fan. My name is on my name tag and I'm the only Amy, as of right now.

We have so many Bluetooth speakers laying around and just about all of us are subscribed to some kind of streaming service for music. I personally use Sirius XM which is a paid service. My 2 favorite stations are Poprocks and Lithium. Anyway, having a great station means needing a great speaker to blast it out of, right?

As an after Christmas surprise we had the opportunity to work with Oraolo on a review of their Bluetooth Speakers, Oraolo Soundmusic Waterproof Wireless Speakers with Bluetooth. This thing is perfect for any environment, even work.

Why I wanted to test it out at work is because all of the great elements are there. Water, distance, high activity, a bunch of people to enjoy it, and more. This is a great speaker for pool parties, hiking, and just about everything the music would go along with.

To be honest, this is probably the most intense review I have done on any product. I usually focus on my individual thoughts in my own personal space. But with a full 14 member restaurant staff and tastes in music from country, classic rock, hip hop, alternative rock, metal, and more, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give this guy here some great exposure. Spoiler- everyone agrees this is an awesome speaker.

Waterproof

Ok, so waterproof. This speaker is stress-tested constantly. Its in a kitchen/dining area. Not just running water but soda fountains, coffee pots, tea machine, and that's just the stuff that's supposed to be there. The servers set drinks, syrup containers, and other condiments there in their passes by emptying and reloading pockets per order. So far so good. It pulls through a 20-hour span with no problems at all.

Sound quality

One thing that changes from shift to shift is the taste in music and vibe. Depending on the staff and patron list, is what's playing on the speaker. Anyone that uses SiriusXM, Pandora, or Spotify knows there and endless mixes suitable for every audience. Sometimes it's bluetoothed to a cook, sometimes a waitress, sometimes to someone in the office. We really don't care as long as it's playing. It's been paired with Apple's and Android's, neither change the sound quality of the speaker.

Something we have noticed, the loudness was affected by the device it was connected to and to the volume that was set at pairing. If the device is connected while the volume is low it gets louder than if it is connected at full volume capacity from the start.

Loudness vs Clarity

This is a sensitive subject for a lot of speakers. The louder the more muffled the sound gets, usually. Not with the Oraolo. The loudness does not affect clarity. It is loud and clear all the way up! There is no distortion. This speaker is perfect for a crowd. Even on a mid-day lunch rush, this speaker is perfect for playing some classic rock gets everyone in a Bebop kind of mood!

Connectivity

The connection is so easy to establish. Turn it on, scan for devices, connect. That's it. It makes the Bluetooth sound and stays connected like an invisible magnet. With my phone in my pocket, it doesn't even disconnect going to the bathroom area.

Connectivity distance

At any position inside the store, the connection is uninterrupted. The only problem I have seen with connection is when I go to my vehicle and that's outside the building past a block wall, I didn't expect it to stay connected anyway.

Compact Design

Another great feature of this awesome Bluetooth speaker is its accessibility. Its compact design is perfect to fit on any table, counter space, or even hung by its strap. The exact dimensions are 10.9 x 4.7 x 4.9 inches and 3.13 lbs.

After much testing on various topics and a whole lot of conversations with fellow co-workers, we all like it!
