What type of corrective eyewear do you use? I have been wearing glasses since second grade. When I was little my mom was informed I refused to do my schoolwork and I was constantly getting bad marks on my work that I did do. I was put in the back of the class because my teachers thought it was for the best. Well, they were wrong. My work output was less and less. Because my mom loves me and didn't believe I was a bad kid, she said it had to be something else. We went in for a check-up and she was right. Mom's do know everything! I couldn't see good. I was only 7, I was seeing the same as I always had so I didn't know that it wasn't good.

I was diagnosed with being nearsighted in one eye and far-sighted in the other. My first pair of glasses were heavy and so uneven! That was 30 years ago! Technology has definitely changed throughout the years. The options for getting quality eyewear is so easy! I just got a new pair from GlassesUSA.com and I love them!

This is my first rectangle shape pair of glasses and I love them. I have always had oval-shaped glasses and thought that was what looked best on me but I used the virtual try-on options and decided on these.

GlassesUSA.com has such a cool site that's easy to navigate and order from. I love all of the filters and options. The Try-On option is really nice. Especially for someone like me that wants to try something new. All I did was take a picture of me, upload it to the site, then click the glasses I wanted to "try on".

The Try On feature is great because I don't have the time to go in an office to sit for hours to go through shelves of frames to see what looks best on my face. Not just that, I get to see a different view of me. I tried on frames from all of the categories available. Going away from the normal frame I have always used to a new frame was a stretch and I love it!

Over the years my eyes have changed so I can't use just any over the counter reading glasses. My eyes are also uneven and have a different prescription in each eye.
