With summer coming up fast, what kind of activities do you have with your kids? We have so many adventures planned but one, we have something special for Cassie.

Reading is something that gets put off a lot in the summer time. There are so many other things to do and to some kids, reading is just boring. So, jazz it up! When the kids read a story that is about them and their best friend it makes it so much more interesting.


 I had the opportunity to work with  StarPath Dolls on a review of one of their awesome dolls and a personalized book from their collection. StarPath Dolls Are Multi-ethnic BFFs With Shared Adventures in Customized Books. Books alone are an amazing gift. Adding in a doll with accessories to the adventures make it come to life that much more. I am really excited about this review.

Picking your Doll

Cassie loves the choices in the dolls. They all have different skin, hair, eyes, and clothes. We picked the story " A Fairy Tale Gone Wrong" and Shining Star Doll.

The Shining Star Doll has long brown hair brown eyes. She's wearing a pink top with a plaid black and white skirt, She has a black belt, black boots, and a pink hat to accessorize the outfit. She's 18.5 inches tall and makes a great buddy to take around with her all the time.

The shop at StarPathDolls has all of the other outfits available too. They also offer special outfits and plush animals to go with the stories. Cassie got the swan and the pretty pink dress to go with her story. She is so happy!

Creating You Story

The stories are personalized so your child can pick the adventure and what goes on.

From the beginning, it's so easy.  All of the questions are required so you can't accidentally leave one out. I can appreciate that because I have ordered personalized books before and received a very special one that said (Your Answer Here)  in place of a question. Then the real questions started. So yes, it's nice to have the questions as required questions.

 At first, we wanted to surprise Cassie all the way around but, there are questions that she has to answer. She can name her doll and pick her friend's names for the book and so much more. It really is a great way to get her mind moving and start the adventure!

This is one of these things that make my job so amazing. Not only do we get to review one of these awesome dolls, one of our amazing readers gets to receive a doll too!
