**Updated Post**
Loading up the kids brought so much stuff. I was afraid they wouldn't fit with all the stuff that HAD TO COME with us.
Getting in the van and getting on the road always takes longer than we plan :) Next year we should make a check list and pack the trunk a week in advance at least. HA
Aron, me, Abby, Chloe, Niko, and Cassie set out on the open road! This was so much fun from loading the car all the way to the most amazing day ever. Even the ride there was fun. Having all of the kids in one place at one time was great. We really need to do these family trips as much as possible.
After a leisurely ride, we arrived in Chattanooga. It was so much fun. The line wasn't long. We were all so ready to feel the wind in our hair and have some great food. It really is exciting- the anticipation of the first ride.
I love the security at the park. hey check bags for contraband and let us on our way. We went to the pavilion, claimed stake to our spot and started the fun! Right behind us here is the Kiddie Park. Everything in the park is very well though. I didn't think of it until now but, I really should have gotten some pictures of the kids playing the games like the ring toss.
I love Lake Winne for the family atmosphere. There are rides for everyone. There are so many rides.
Rides!!
In the picture below, the kids are in the Boat Chute, Orbiter, and Wave Swinger.
They loved all these rides. The Boat Chute was a great splash! The Orbiter was so fun to watch them ride. Cassie and Niko were spinning so fast! The swings were great too. Cassie has been waiting years to be big enough to go and she finally made the cut this time. Yay Cass, for growing!!
So many rides
In the picture below they are on the Ozone and Bumper Cars. The Oh-Zone ride looks so scary to me but the kids love it so much they went 3 times this visit. If the bumper cars are going to be any indication of how well they are going to drive in the next few years, my insurance is going to be astronomical!!Even More Rides!
All the kids love the touring rides. Here they are on the Alpine Way and the Parachutes. We rode on the train all around the park too. It was so much fun. The views were absolutely amazing. I can't get over how much there is to do just in one place.
We went to 2 of the restaurants while we were there. The first one was for lunch. We went to Scooters Cafe and got Pizza and chicken. It was so good. We got so full. The kids loved it. There were games to play while the food was cooking. It was clean and very nice staff.
Before we left we got a dinner with memorabilia cups before Carrousel Cafe. Just in case you are wondering, the chicken sandwich is so good. I would like to have another one right now.
If you are looking for a great place to spend the day and have amazing summer fun with the family. I recommend Lake Winnie and the Soak Ya Water Park. It was so much fun, we can't wait to go back this summer.
I would like to thank Lake Winnie for inviting us to spend the day with them. We had so much fun!
If you would like to check out the Lake Winnie website, it has a listing of all of the rides, food, height requirements, and everything else you might want to know while planning your trip.

ReplyDeleteI unfortunately have social anxiety so I don't get out much to very busy/fun placed although I want to, so i make up for it by camping out with my niece's/dogs and friends, swimming and jumping off the dock in my backyard! I appreciate simple things like this, but I do love to travel!
