How To Make Bookmarks, Chore Charts, and Math Fact Sheets with Printables

What do you do when you have an unnatural love for laminating? You laminate of course! I don't know what it is about those papers forever sealed in time that comes with a sense of accomplishment.

*I know I will never have to buy another chore chart again!
*Bookmarks Bookmarks Bookmarks
*Binder Inserts
*Emergency Contact Paper
*Weekly Fridge Calander

The list goes on and on. So I want to show you how to create and love all things laminated. Not to mention all things savable stuff like report cards, newspaper articles, kids art, and the stuff that's not supposed to get laminated that I laminated anyway social security cards HAHAHA. Lesson learned.

Since I have been working at home and my kids are getting bigger, there are so many things that I want to keep safe forever and a laminator would definitely be the device of choice.

Cassie has come up with some great ideas from her DIY adventures that would help me preserve without the laminator but I honestly don't trust them. saran wrap, white paper, and clear tape are her go to and that's fine with me, I just personally don't like my eyes having to fight through the layers and wrinkles in the material.

So, I got a new laminator :) YAY! Let's make some stuff!!

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are so easy to make and can be personalized for the reader. It's an awesome thing for gifts for anyone too. I went to Canva and made these. It was so easy. Go into shapes pick a box and stretch it to the size you want. I picked the rounded edged. From there add colors and designs. I added an inspirational quote on one of them but you can type anything you want.

Chore Chart

Chore charts are n awesome way to hep kids get responsible. If you have an award system for completing tasks or if there is the rule of "do it or get grounded" (rewards work better for our kids), keeping up with it is so easy. The same rules work on this as a dry erase board and so much cheaper!!

Math facts are so important. Here is an example of 1-5 facts.

There are so many things that I want to keep safe. Things that I will only be getting once like report cards and letters of achievements. Other stuff I just want to laminate because it's cool and it makes my stuff last forever are bookmarks, dry erase games for the car, inserts for my planner, the kid's bingo sheets, math facts sheets, other printables, newspaper clippings, and so much more.

So, the one thing that you need to make all this happen, a laminator! The new one I just got is the Marigold 9" Pouch Thermal Laminator 2-Roller Laminating Machine (LM905). This is so easy to use and makes all this happen.

This has the options for cold lamination and 3 mil and 5 mil pouches. It heats up pretty quick and laminates really quick. It's so awesome. I did a video review showing in real time how fast it works. Check it out and let me know what you think :)

What I like about it is the size. It's compact and so easy to move around or just set on the desk, it doesn't take up much room at all!

I received this for free in exchange for an honest unbiased review. If you have any questions about this product, please feel free to email us directly at [email protected] or [email protected]
