I had the opportunity to work with Big Red Rooster on a review of their alarm clocks. They are SO cute!! This, in my opinion, is a great way to get kids to feel more responsible. By making a serious thing like punctuality a fun thing to start with it's not such a hard adjustment to be independent.

Well, it's an alarm clock but, it's a really fun one! It's a projection alarm clock that displays the time and 4 different images on the ceiling. Yes, so very cool. I would have been the happiest kid ever with one of those! I'm the happiest adult with one of these!
Big Red Rooster sent me 2 Digital Projection Alarm Clocks a Cat and a Dog. They are so cute!!! The cat is yellow and had green buttons. The dog is a dark orange color with white and brown and has matching buttons.
What makes these guys so different from the standard alarm clock that we started her with are options they offer. Like I said these guys are so neat. As far as the functions, they are the same on both clocks.

Options of having the clock/images displayed. One, both, or none.
Snooze button.
This is so easy to set. One thing that I really like is the press and hold and wait for a flash to change the time. That's great for us because accidentally changing the time has happened more times than I can count with the standard clock. This one was tricky for Cassie to set which made her not want to set it (yay).
The alarm is loud enough for her to hear it without being scared awake. It's not an annoying alarm.
The AC adapter works just fine to use it plugged in and she thinks it's even cooler that it can use the batteries and not lose time when she goes to Grammy's house.

ReplyDeleteI Just think these little alarm clocks are so awesome. My Great Granddaughter Emmah is 5 and she goes to school so I am thinking she would love one. Most probably the dog. She has dog she loves. This would be great for her learning and independence. Thank you for this enjoyable review
