GENERAL MILLS® BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION™ AT WALMART #BTFE

This post is written by my on behalf of General Mills Box Tops For Education and Wal-mart.

Here we go, another year at school. This is officially the last day of summer for Cassie. The kids are getting so much bigger, I think she grew 3 inches this summer alone.

There is so much fun stuff that comes along with the new school year. Getting to know the teachers, learning the schedule, and planning for all of the fund raising activities to pay for all of the extra stuff.

GENERAL MILLS® BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION™ AT WALMART is helping students earn those extra dollars. All summer long Cassie was looking for box tops. She want's to be the classroom winner for her grade. They always celebrate with a movie and popcorn, pizza party, or some fun activity for the whole class.

Her favorite game for collecting so far, out of all of her years participating (4 years is a long time to a 3rd grader) Box Top Bingo!!  Its a 5 X 5  grid paper that students fill up with their box tops. She knew she had to be the winning kid.

She brought in 3 completely filled sheets. Her Best friend brought in more. Her class did win but she wanted to win all the way around. She had cornered everyone in the family to let them know how important it is to get a party in her classroom.

That is why Box Tops For Education  are so awesome for us. It is a great way to earn money for our kids' schools. Not just students can do it. Grammys, Grampys, Nanny's, PaPa's, Aunts, Uncles, and neighbors can collect Box Tops too.

Box Tops for Education™ Facts I bet you did't know:
- Box Tops are worth $0.10 for your child’s school
- Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs.
- Over 80,000 k-8 schools participate
- Schools can use Box Tops cash to buy whatever they need.
- Box Tops for Education has contributed over $525 million to participating schools since the launch of the program in 1996.

In my opinion, Box Tops are a great way for kids to learn about earning and helping each other. We try to teach our kids that you have to earn what you have. Through trying, learning, behaving, and very hard work, our kids are earning good grades. By saving the Box Tops, they are learning the value of things. I love participating.
